CD list-

1.) Smile Empty Soul-“Smile Empty Soul.”

I got this a few months ago at Pitchfork Records downstairs in the used racks for like 3.00 or something. Such a good CD. I’m pretty sure “Silhouettes” is my favorite.

2.) The Used-“In Love and Death.”

I love The Used. Had this the day it came out. It rules. It’s amazing. “Let it bleed” and “Hard to say” are just beautiful. “Listening” and “I’m a fake” are mind blowing. The whole CD just completely blew me away.

3.) Sugarcult-“Start Static.”

Everyone said their new CD “Palm Tree’s and Powerlines” was way better but I never thought so. I got this at Pitchfork for a few bucks and my brother bought the new CD and I like this one way better. Even if it is more “poppy.” Come on…”Pretty Girl” is just great. I love that song. And “Daddy’s little defect” was my theme song freshman year.

4.) Nirvana-“In Utero”

Bought this at Pitchfork, too. You have to like “All Apologies.” So beautiful. “Heart shaped box” and “Pennyroyal Tea” are classics. Kurt Cobain’s voice just shivers right through you.

5.) Mest-“Mest”

This was my first Mest CD. I completely forgot about the editing thing and bought it at walmart. UGH. I hate walmart so much. So I can’t listen to “Until I met you” without screaming because it’s edited so fucking much. I love “Walking on Broken glass” and “Lost, Broken, Confused.” But my favorite is “Chance of a lifetime.” Tony’s voice is so cool. It’s different.

6.) Sum 41-“Chuck”

I mostly bought this CD because I won tickets to go see them and Good Charlotte and I wanted to know some of the stuff. Otherwise I was going to buy “The Best of Bob Marley.” But this is actually really good.

7.) Justincase-“Justincase”

This is…pop-rock to the extreme of pop. But I really like it. I’ve had it for years. I thought the kid in this (Justin…wow original band name I know!) was just hot. “Without You.” Is really good and “Constellation” is great for blasting when your cleaning the house. Hehe.

8.) N.E.R.D-“Fly or die”

My mom won this CD on the radio and gave it to me because Benji and Joel from Good Charlotte sing on “Jump” I’m pretty sure that’s the only song I listened to on the whole CD and it has been months. So this is pretty much just collecting dust.

9.) LFO-“LFO”

Best boyband ever. Period. This CD is the soundtrack to my life when I was younger. There is a lot of….history with this band that I can’t really talk about but…yeah. Let’s just say that the love of this band runs in the family? I know all the words and you have GOT to admit that Devin’s voice on “Forever” is worthy of you melting.

10.) Story of the Year-“Page Avenue”

I love this CD. I was pretty pissed when they released “Anthem of our dying day” because that’s my favorite song on the CD and now everyone at my school knows it but whatever. All the songs are really good and the lyrics are poetic. It steps out of the typical “punk-rock-pop” mold in my opinion.

11.) Mest-“Destination Unknown”

Great CD. “Mother’s Prayer” is great. “Cadillac” rocks. “Chelsea” is awesome. It’s just a good damn CD.

12.) The Used-“The Used”

This CD is equally amazing as the new one. Every single song is just complete brilliance. The whole band leaves me breathless. I couldn’t start naming songs because I would end up with every one.

13.) Rancid-“Indestructible”

Soundtrack to my Sophomore year. “David Courtney” is my favorite. That song just rules. “Red hot moon” and “Out of control” are great too.

14.) Alanis Morissette-“Jagged little pill”

Nobody wants to admit it anymore but everyone loved her songs at one point or another. It was the 90’s people! It was cool! You remember, I know you do.

15.) Box Car Racer-“Box Car Racer.”

This is a good CD. I love “Tiny Voices.” The CD is edited though. I bought it used for a couple bucks and got it home…yeah I was pissed. It’s still great though.

16.) American Hi-Fi-“American Hi-Fi”

I bought this used as well. I liked the “Flavor of the weak” song when I heard it on the radio. And I like the lyrics to “I’m a fool” too.

17.) Die Trying-“Die Trying”

I had some high hopes for this band for a long time. Not too sure what’s up with them now. Last time I knew they were looking for a new band name. The lead singer is fucking hot. Heh…but no that’s not the only reason I got the CD blah blah blah. “Turn up the radio” “Fuck You” and “Never good enough” are all awesome. As are the rest of the songs on the CD.

18.) Good Charlotte-“The Young and the Hopeless”

This CD basically saved my life. I may not be as big of a good charlotte fan as I was when this came out but I still appreciate everything this CD did for me. And I love the songs. “Bloody Valentine” remains , as always, my favorite Good Charlotte song. The song has become associated with me and I love it.

19.) Good Charlotte-“Good Charlotte”

This CD never gets old. Sigh…I love all the songs on it. But my favorite’s are “Walk by” (where I got my nick name) and “Change.” “Change” really hit hard on some stuff I was going through so that always had a special place for me.

20.) Blink 182-“Blink 182”

This CD is amazing. It’s my favorite Blink CD yet. “Always” is my favorite. That song is awesome.

21.) Good Charlotte-“The Young and the Hopeless.” (***Second Copy***)

Yeah I have two of this CD.

22.) Silverchair-“Neon Ballroom”

Great CD. I bought this used and it became a favorite of mine instantly. “Emotion Sickness”, “Anthem for the year 2000”, “Ana’s song”, “Miss you love”, “Dearest helpless”, “Black tangled heart”, “Paint Pastel Princess.” There are just so many amazing songs on this CD. I highly recommend it.

23.) Something Corporate-“North”

This CD was cheap so I bought it because I was going to see them live. Not a big favorite of mine…but it’s good to have I guess.

24.) Simple Plan-“No pads, no helmets, just balls.”

Aw I used to love this CD. The songs are so fun. I guess they just got old. I havn’t heard much of the new CD so I dunno about my opinion of the band now but yeah...i used to love them. David was my obsession! “Perfect” “Grow up” “Im just a kid.” Yeah it was good.

25.) Slipknot Vol. 3-“The Subliminal Verses”

Good CD. I fell in love with “Duality” as soon as I heard it so had to buy this. There is another song on the CD that I completely love and I can’t remember the name of it. Anyway it’s a slower song um…..”I know the way, but I faltered…” If you have the CD you know what song I’m talking about.

26.) Avenged Sevenfold-“Waking the Fallen”

This is a great CD. The band rules and I love this CD. “Unholy Confessions” “I won’t see you tonight pt. 1” (and pt. 2) You gotta listen to this CD. It’s amazing.

27.) Ashlee Simpson-“Autobiography”

This is a great CD. I love it!!! My favorite new pop/rock singer. My favorite on the CD is….”LaLa” for personal reasons lol.

28.) Elvis-“Golden Records”

Got this at Pitchfork too. It’s awesome. It’s got “Hound Dog” “All shook up” “Heartbreak Hotel” “Jailhouse rock” “Don’t be cruel” “Teddy bear” “I want you, I need you, I love you”….almost all my favorite elvis songs. ELVIS RULES!

29.) Good Charlotte-“The Chronicles of Life and Death” (life version)

This CD is okay. I have a full review of it on my extra’s page so go there. My favorite is “Mountain” I believe.

30.) Blink 182-“enema of the state”

I bought this used. I’m more a fan of the new Blink 182 but this is a great CD to have too. My favorite is “Adam’s song”

31.) New Found Glory-“Sticks and Stones”

My first NFG CD. I love “Something I call personality” and “It’s been a summer”

32.) Pink-“Missundaztood”

Alright. I can’t stand the way she spelled that…but I used to really like her and this CD isn’t bad. I think she has talent…she just doenst show it sometimes lol.

33.) Rancid-“…And Out Come the Wolves.”

My favorite Rancid CD. This rules. My favorite….”Ruby Soho” Play this CD when your up at 3:00AM playing cards with a bunch of people. Sigh good memories.

34.) Nirvana-“Nevermind”

Stole this from my Dad’s collection a long ass time ago. This is my favorite Nirvana CD (It seems to be pretty much everyone’s favorite I know.) “Lithium” enough said.

35.) Warped Tour Comp. 2004.

Yup I got this one too. A bunch of bands as always…

36.) Green Day-“Nimrod”

“Nice Guys Finish Last”, “The Grouch” “Good Riddance”…I think my favorite is “Take Back”

37.) Linkin Park-“Hybrid Theory”

I looooove this CD. “Papercut” “With you” “A place for my head”….yeah it’s just good.

38.) New Found Glory-“Catalyst”

Someone burned this for me. It’s good but I like “Sticks and Stones” better.

39.) LFO-“Life is good”

Bought this out of love of Devin’s voice. He only really sings on like 2 songs though.

40.) Linkin Park-“Hybrid Theory” (***Second Copy***)

Somehow ended up with 2 of this CD.

41.) Silverchair-“Frogstomp”

Silverchair rules. I love this CD. I like “Neon Ballroom” better but this is just as amazing.

42.) Silverchair-“Frogstomp” (***Second Copy***)

I have two of this CD as well. One is burned though.

Comps, mixes, soundtracks...etc.:

1.) Titanic Soundtrack

This was my favorite movie for the longest time. Now I just cannot part with it because of the Irish music on track 2.

2.) Punk Rock is your Friend Comp.

Cheap CD I got at Hot Topic. The Tsunami Bomb songs on it are great.

3.) Warped Tour 2003 Compilation.

These CD’s are good to get if you are going to warped (you should if you aren’t already planning on it) and you want to know a few more bands on it. It’s cool because you’ll be walking around and you’ll hear a song and be like…”hey I know that! Let’s go watch them until (insert band name)’s set starts!” This had The Used, Tsunami Bomb, Story of the year, Matchbook Romance, S.T.U.N., The Casualties, Simple Plan, Avenged Sevenfold, and Mest.

4.) Kerrang!-“Life is Loud”

This came with a Kerrang! Magazine someone in my family brought me back from England. I don’t listen to it much but it has The Ataris, Cradle of Filth, Adema, Him, and Vendetta Red.

5.) Life in the Fat lane-“Fat Music Vol. IV”

I found this in my Dad’s collection. It’s got Lagwagon, Mad Caddies, Sick of it all, Strung out, NOFX, Me First and the Gimme Gimme’s, Screeching Weasel…

6.) Liberation, Songs to benefit PETA

A good bunch of songs. Pretty cool because it all goes towards PETA, and being a vegetarian myself I had to buy the CD. It’s got Goldfinger, an acoustic Good Charlotte song, Story of the year, Anti-Flag, and The Used (!!!). You can put it in your computer for a little education on PETA that is pretty handy.

7.) Punk-O-Rama vol. 9

Not a bad CD. It was pretty cheap and it’s got Rancid, Dropkick Murphys, Matchbook Romance…I’m pretty sure I lost the actual CD though so all I have left is the DVD that came with it. Still good.

8.) Rock Against Bush Vol. 1
Is there anything left to say except I can’t believe that nasty fucking bastard won. The CD is good though and the DVD is cool too.

9.) Good Charlotte-“Predictable” single.
Got this free when I reserved my copy of the new CD. Was very disappointed with “The chronicles of life and death” and was praying the rest of the CD was different…..that didn’t happen.

10.) Punk 101 comp.

I don’t listen to this much but it’s not bad. It’s got “Dead Kennedy’s” “Exploited” “Anti-Flag” and “Sid Vicious” on it.

11.) Atticus-“Dragging the lake”

Good CD. This CD is what introduced me to THE USED. “Box full of sharp objects” is on it. I am eternally grateful to this CD. Other than them the CD has Finch, Blink, NFG, BCR, MadCap, Sugarcult, The Starting line.

12.) Equal Vision Records Summer Sampler 2004

Alexisonfire, Vaux,….

13.) Dew Music Showcase ‘04

Sparta, Motion City Soundtrack, Don’t look down…

14.) Fat Wreck Chords Sampler
Anti-Flag, Against me!, Descendents, Sick of it all…

14.) Lacuna Coil CD single.

It has “Swamped” “Heaven’s a lie” and Senzafine” on it. I really like “Swamped”

15.) Abacus Records Sampler

A lot of screaming…not the kind of screaming I love though.

16.) The Vision and the volume spring/summer 2004
Not too many bands I know and not too many bands that I really like on this.

17.) Ibex Records-“Boundaries and obstacles”

Same as above.

18.) BYO Records 2004 Spring Sampler

Alkaline Trio and The Briefs.

19.) Shadows Fall-“The War Within 2 song sampler”

I don’t really like this band so I don’t listen to this.

20.) Warped Tour ’03 Sampler

I think this had Tsunami Bomb on it so I was happy J I think I got it on a box of macaroni and cheese or something like that.

21.) AMP Sampler Vol. 9

Bad religion, Stiff little fingers, The briefs, Hawthorne Heights, Funeral for a friend.

22.) AMP Sampler Vol. 8

28.) All Ages Sampler

I like this band. They remind me of Boys night out or something.

29.) Josie and the Pussycats Soundtrack.

This is good stuff. Even though none of the actors actually sang any of it…but still. I like it.

30.) Life is long Play short get’er done! Countdown to life, thirty3

This is alright. I’m not a huge fan of either band but its alright.
